Refund Policy

General Policy

 

Due to the collectible and often irreplaceable nature of our inventory, all sales are final.

 

This applies to everything listed for sale on the website.

Once an item is purchased, ownership transfers to the buyer and the sale cannot be cancelled or refunded except where described below.

 

​

 

Exception — Misrepresentation or Listing Error

 

We stand behind the accuracy of our listings.

A return may be accepted only if the item was materially misrepresented, meaning:

 

  • Incorrect date or model association

  • Fake item proven counterfeit (unless listed under item description as a copy) 

  • Major undisclosed flaws or damage

  • Authenticity materially different than described

 

Normal wear, age-appropriate patina, printing variations, handling marks, and small defects typical for vintage items do not qualify as misrepresentation.

Inspection Window

 

You must notify us of any issue within 7 days of delivery.

 

Requests after 7 days cannot be honored due to collectible market volatility and handling changes post-delivery.

Condition on Return

 

Items approved for return must be:

    •    In the same condition received

    •    With all packaging, certificates, provenance paperwork, and accessories

    •    Shipped back using insured, trackable method

 

We reserve the right to deny refunds if the item has been:

    •    Handled excessively

    •    Opened improperly (for sealed items)

    •    Damaged after delivery

    •    Altered, cleaned, or restored

Authenticity Disputes

 

We take authenticity seriously.

 

If an item is alleged to be non-authentic:

    1.    Buyer must provide written documentation from a recognized expert or authority

    2.    Refund issued only upon verified return and review

 

Concours Collective’s responsibility is limited to the purchase price.

Damage in Transit

 

If the package arrives damaged:

    •    You must notify us within 48 hours

    •    Retain packaging and provide photos for carrier claim

    •    Refunds depend on carrier insurance claim approval

(insurance highly recommended for collectible items)

Non-Refundable Circumstances

 

Refunds are not provided for:

 

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Change in market value after purchase

  • Found a better price elsewhere

  • Incorrect shipping address provided by buyer

  • Delays by carriers or customs

 

​

 

Store Credit

 

At our discretion, we may offer store credit in unique cases, but this is not guaranteed.

 

​

 

Return Shipping

 

Buyer is responsible for return shipping & insurance unless we made an error.

 

We are not responsible for returned items lost or damaged during transit.

 

​

 

Chargebacks

 

Any dispute filed without contacting us first will be challenged with:

    •    Order records

    •    Communications

    •    Listing descriptions

    •    Shipment & delivery evidence

 

Collectors’ markets require clear, documented transactions — we protect both parties.
